Nin Online — live on www.ninonline.comAn 11-year-old wiki with 1,303 articles and 3 active editors. Pipeline work: patch-note ingest, balance sync, card transcription.
One reviewed edit per UTC day on Nin Online, applied at 09:00 local by com.daredev.nin-wiki-streak. The quest runs on this wiki only - Ninjora has no achievement system enabled.
The most recent work on Nin Online, pulled live. A batch that applied one change across many pages is collapsed to a single row carrying its true edit count, so the log shows what was done rather than the same sentence twelve times. Every page name links to the real diff — a byte count is not evidence of what changed. Grouped by UTC date, the way the wiki's own Recent Changes reads — the same clock the streak is counted on.

Nin Online renamed a location in Update v5.9.1, 27 Aug 2025. The wiki never caught up: 31 occurrences of the retired name across 14 live pages, a year later. Half that patch's renames were applied and the rest abandoned. This is the queue that finishes it, one edit a day.
| Day | Page | Operation | Summary | State |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Day 2 | Kairi's Parcel | replace_seq | Kairi is the correct spelling (confirmed in-game). Remove the merge notice, add the parcel icon and Kairi's location, both carried over from the duplicate page at Kiari's Parcel. | applied |
| Day 3 | Kiari's Parcel | redirect → Kairi's Parcel | Duplicate of [[Kairi's Parcel]] under a misspelling of the NPC's name. Content merged there; redirecting. Kairi confirmed in-game. | applied |
| Day 4 | Tanzaku Quarters | move → Kinsen Quarters | Rename to the current in-game name. Source: Update v5.9.1, 27 Aug 2025 - "Tanzaku Quarters renamed to Kinsen Quarters" (Updates 2025; also recorded in the Tanzaku Quarters change-history table). Redirect left in place. | applied |
| Day 5 | Kinsen Quarters | replace_seq | Update the article's own prose to the current name. Source: Update v5.9.1, 27 Aug 2025 - "Tanzaku Quarters renamed to Kinsen Quarters" (Updates 2025; also recorded in the Tanzaku Quarters change-history table). The change-history table and the Tanzaku Quarters.png filename keep the old name on purpose - history is not rewritten. The Japanese name (row1, 短冊街 / Tanzaku-gai) is left unchanged - no source yet for Kinsen's kanji. | applied |

Ninjora — live on ninjora.comA browser MMORPG by Pixel Pirate with no wiki at all. Now 121 articles, adopted by the dev team and announced to the server.
The most recent work on Ninjora, pulled live.

| Community Contests | Record the weapon design contest result: Mizuchi by Violence (Katana, 8 votes, won on the staff tiebreak) and Landscape Blade by Roei (Heavy Blade, 8 votes). First player-attributed items on this wiki. Announced by Fentomaru 2026-08-22. | 1 | +1,096 | 11d |
| MediaWiki:Wiki-navigation | Point two nav entries at pages that exist. World and Character were redlinks and Fandom silently drops nav items whose target is missing, so both had been invisible. The real titles are The World and Character and Interface. | 1 | +22 | 11d |
| MediaWiki:Wiki-navigation | Rebuild the navigation to fit Fandom's rendering limits. Four of the eight top-level sections never rendered, so Patch history and Community were unreachable from the menu. Fandom shows 4 top-level items with 7 sub-items each; this fits everything inside that and adds Recent updates. | 1 | -78 | 11d |

The agent reads User:RawBOT/shutoff before it reads anything else. If the first line of that page is not exactly RUN, the run aborts without touching the wiki. That page is currently editable by any editor, and every change to it is public in the page history. The bot's own credentials cannot alter that protection — its login is granted edit and move but not protect, so the agent cannot widen its own leash. The same login does hold delete and upload; the constraint is that it cannot lock the page that stops it.
Last set by RawBOT on 2026-08-22
Change the first line of the shutoff page to anything other than
RUN. The next run reads it, aborts, and reports the halt on Discord.
Editable by any editor.
On Wikipedia the bots blocked for "no emergency button" and "not responding to the run page" were the ones whose switch did not work. A switch nobody can reach is not a switch.
The cron applies one edit per UTC day and exits if a human already edited that day.
The operator edits the same account by hand, and those are not rate limited, so the
activity log can show a busy day the cron had no part in. Nothing is ever flagged
bot, so every change stays visible in Recent Changes. Operator: James Dare,
reachable on the account's talk page.
The scheduled job is an applier, never an author. It cannot invent an edit. It drains a queue written and reviewed in advance, and if that queue is empty it writes a dated line in its own userspace rather than improvising in article space.
Edits are researched against patch notes and the game, then written to
queue.jsonl with the exact operation, expected match count, and a citation.
A queue entry is a hypothesis. Before firing, the job re-reads the live page and confirms the premise still holds. Drifted page, blocked entry.
One edit per UTC day, never flagged bot. If a human already edited that
day, the job exits without touching anything.
A separate reader queries the wiki and counts distinct edit-days. It reads no state file, no log, no queue - only what the wiki says happened.
A constraint that has never been observed to fire is indistinguishable from a comment in the code. Each one below is exercised by a test that tries to make it fail — the guard passes only by refusing. The last row is a control: a correctly-declared edit that must still go through, so a suite that refused everything could not pass.
11/11 guards proven · last run 2026-09-03 21:00 UTC · test_guards.py
| State | Constraint | Claim | Attack | Refusal |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| proven | Blanking guard | A result under 90% of the original length is refused. | Replace the whole page body with two characters. | result is 0% of original — blanking guard |
| proven | No-op refusal | Output identical to the input is treated as failure. | Submit an edit whose result is byte-identical to the page. | no-op edit (MediaWiki would discard it) |
| proven | Exact match count | A replacement declares how many matches it expects. | Use `replace` on a string that occurs twice, not once. | 'find' matched 2 times, need exactly 1 |
| proven | Declared count mismatch | replace_seq refuses when the live count differs from the queue's. | Claim 5 matches for a string that occurs twice. | replacement 0: 'Tanzaku Quarters' matched 2 times, expected 5 - the page changed since this entry was written |
| proven | Premise re-verification | An entry whose premise no longer holds is blocked, not applied. | Require a string that is not on the page. | premise gone: page no longer contains 'NOT ON THIS PAGE' |
| proven | Work-already-done guard | An entry is refused if its work is already present. | Forbid a string that IS on the page. | premise broken: page already contains 'Tanzaku Quarters' |
| proven | Missing-page guard | An operation on a page that does not exist is refused. | Append to a page whose current text is None. | page does not exist |
| proven | Overwrite guard | `create` refuses to overwrite a page that already exists. | Create a page that is already there. | page already exists, refusing to overwrite |
| proven | Double-redirect guard | A page that is already a redirect is not redirected again. | Redirect a page whose text is already #REDIRECT. | page is already a redirect |
| proven | Unknown-operation guard | An operation the applier does not recognise is refused. | Submit op='delete', which does not exist. | unknown op 'delete' |
| proven | Control: a valid edit applies | The guards do not refuse legitimate work. | Apply a correctly-declared two-match replacement. | no refusal - the guard did not fire |
The agent finds its own work by reading Nin Online's official patch notes and asking the wiki whether each named thing has a page or is mentioned anywhere. What is left is content the game shipped and the wiki never absorbed.

These are proposals, not work. Nothing here reaches queue.jsonl without a human promoting it, and roughly two in five are false positives — a HUD element or a sound effect that reads like a subject. A generated backlog is a hypothesis; this project has produced two that were wrong at birth, so this one is deliberately narrow and deliberately reviewed.

Every number on this page is fetched at build time from the public MediaWiki API of both wikis, then rendered. Nothing is hardcoded, so a figure that looks wrong is a bug in the fetch rather than a claim in the copy.
Queries siteinfo, users, usercontribs,
recentchanges and logevents on both wikis, and inlines each
wiki's own site icon as a data URI.
Renders this page from data.json. Emits pure ASCII with numeric character
references, since the page cannot declare its own charset.
Reads the live wiki and counts distinct UTC edit-days. Reads no state file, no log and no queue - the job's claim is not the measurement.
Upload counts cap at 500 per log query and are marked + where the cap was
hit. Generated 2026-09-03 21:00 UTC.
